Nicola Turturro

Nicola Turturro 81, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Nov. 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 25, 1931 to the late Michael and Vincenza (Volpicella) Turturro in Giovinazzo Bari, Italy. Nicola was a retired construction worker with the Laborers International Union # 235 in Elmsford, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Angela (nee DeBiase) Turturro and his loving daughter, Anna (Edward) Burns all of Hawthorne, N.Y. one brother, Vincenzo (Anna) Turturro of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Chloe and Katie Burns. Predeceased by his two brothers, Angelo and Giuseppe Turturro and sister, Dora Fiorentino. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
