Nicola Federici 81, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on June 13, 2017. He was born on Feb.27,1936 to the late Giuseppe and Giusepina (nee Ruvo) Federici in Castelgrande, Italy. He was a retired Brick Layer/Builder with Otini Masonary Corp in Yonkers, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife, Anna (nee Facciabene) Federici of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving children, Josephine (Bill) Gazzetti of Hartsdale, N.Y., Roseann Federici of Hawthorne, N.Y., Cathy (Frank) Fata of Valhalla, N.Y., Joseph Federici of Rye, N.Y. and Vito (Kim) Federici of Cleveland, Ohio. Also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Rose Anne Saraco, Michelangelo and Sophia Rose Federici and two great grandchildren, Isabella and Alexa Saraco. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to either Parkinson’s Disease or American Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated.
