Nicholas Marinaccio 90, most recently a resident of The Lutheran Home of Southbury, Conn. and a former longtime resident of White Plains, N.Y. died on March 20, 2011. He was born on Oct. 5, 1920 to the late Anthony and Palma (nee Zilembo) Marinaccio in Marlborough, Mass. Nick proudly served in the US Marines during WWII. He was a self employed grocery store owner in New Rochelle, N.Y. and a member of the Roma AC Club in White Plains, N.Y. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Dorothy (nee Cipollone) Marinaccio in 2005, and by his one sister, Madeline Palladino and three brothers, Michael, Joseph and Anthony. He is survived by his loving children; Nicholas, Jr. ( Lisa) of Harrison, N.Y., Michael (Mary) of Newtown, Conn. and Linda Gianguzzi and the late David of Palm Coast, Fla. Also survived by his one cherished granddaughter Nicole Marinaccio and his sister in law Gloria (wife of Anthony) of Harrison, N.Y. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 3-7 PM. where funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Lutheran Home of Southbury, 990 Main Street North, Southbury, Conn. 06488 would be appreciated.
