Nicholas G. Finelli

Nicholas G. Finelli 60, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died peacefully on June 8, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born on Nov.10, 1952 to William and Teresa (nee Catero) Finelli in NYC. He proudly served in the US Army from 1975-1978. Nick was a police officer with NYPD in the 43rd precinct for over thirty years until presently. He was a long time member of The Brigade of the American Revolution 2nd NY regiment. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Finelli of Eastchester, N.Y. and by his devoted wife, Lucy (nee Berrois) Finelli of Hawthorne, N.Y. his loving sons, Nicholas J.(Alissa) Finelli of Lincoln, NE and Jonathan T. Finelli of Hawthorne, N.Y. 2 brothers, Michael (Livia) Finelli of Warwick, N.Y. and John (Milena) Finelli of Bellemore, N.Y. also survived by his grandson, Alexander. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
