Nicholas DeMatteis

Nicholas DeMatteis of Scarsdale, NY, died February 26, 2015 in Greenwich, CT. He was 76 years old. Nick was born in the Bronx, NY son of the late Alphonso and Concetta DeMatteis. He was a devoted loyal employee of Et-Al Management for over 30 years. He was loved by all of his co-workers. Nick enjoyed golf, baseball, playing the horses and enjoying time with his family and friends. An extremely devoted and kind family man, Nick would always go out of his way to help others. Surviving are his beloved wife, Angela and six children, Nicholas, Ronald, Alphonso, Diane, Carolyn and Jean. Nick is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe, NY on Monday March 2, 2015. Friends may call Sunday at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains from 4-8pm. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings, NY.
