Myrtis C Galante

Myrtis C. Galante, a resident of Hartsdale, died on November 6, 2011. She was 90.

Mrs. Galante was born on May 6, 1921 in Lamar, South Carolina to the late Roland and Leatha (Davis) Chaplan. She is survived by her husband Salvatore Galante, who she married on November 23, 1943; her daughter, Sandra Pencotty; her granddaughter, Lisa Galante; and her two great-granddaughters, Brittany and Ryanne. She is pre-deceased by her son Leonard Galante.

Memorial Mass Saturday 2pm at Sacred Heart Church, Hartsdale. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
