Sleepy Hollow resident Robert E. Shampnois, 56, died March 13, 2019, with loving family by his side. Robert was born in White Plains, NY on November 8, 1962 to Robert and Anna Shampnois. He grew up in Elmsford, NY and graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in 1982. For many years, he worked for the Town of Greenburgh, and just recently retired. He had many interests including fishing, listening and playing music on various instruments and crossword puzzles. He was an avid Beatles, Yankees and Giants fan. His greatest joy of all was being a dad to his boys. He was a wonderful brother to his siblings and the best Uncle Bobby to all his nieces and nephews.
Robert is survived by his sons, William and Christopher of Sleepy Hollow; sister and brother-in-law Karen & Dean Cloutier of Tarrytown, NY; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Linda Shampnois of Tarrytown, NY; and sister and fiancé Katie Johnson & Chuck Ewings of Yorktown Heights, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Amanda and Frankie Reyes and Melissa and Mario Guzman; Anthony, Nicholas and Christina Johnson; Edwin Alejo; Alexis, Briana and Frankie Reyes; and Anna, Alissa and Amarie Guzman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Shampnois.
