Morris Altman (Jack), 96, of White Plains New York, formerly of Bronx County. Born February 17, 1914 in New York City to Abraham and Elizabeth Altman; died on April 18, 2010.
He was devoted to his family, was a retired Railroad employee of Conrail, and a lifelong avid fan of the New York Yankees. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years Virginia Altman nee Clericuzio. He is survived by his two sons Arthur L. Altman Esq. of the same address and Dr. Alan Altman of Rancho Mirage California. He is survived by his grandchildren, Raymond Altman (Pamela), Elizabeth Cuccinello (Peter), Alex Altman and Nicholas Altman of Palm Springs California and Erica Delaney (James) of Philadelphia PA. He is survived by his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jack and Joseph Arthur Altman; Peter, Anthony and Angelina Cuccinello and Stella Delaney. He is also survived by his sister in law Evelyn Puzo Murphy, 22 beloved nieces and nephews and 32 grandnieces and grandnephews He was predeceased by his brothers Harry (Frances) and Louis Altman (Gertie) and his sister Rose Rizzotto (Steve), his brothers in laws, James J. Cleri (Anna) Domenic Cleri (Emma) Anthony Cleri, Mario Puzo (Erika) and Gino Puzo (Virginia) and his nephew Robert Puzo. His kindness and compassion were as legendary as his sense of humor and his memory. His passing is marked with great sadness. May he rest forever in peace with his beloved wife.
