Mitchell R. Glick passed away on October 5, 2022 in Valhalla, NY at the age of 96. He was born in 1926 in New Rochelle, NY to Edward and Leila Glick. Mitchell's sister Annette Goodman and wife Sue Glick predeceased him. He is survived by his second wife Marjorie Schlosberg, his 5 daughters Karen, Cynthia, Elisa, Julie, and Lauren, his grandchildren Michael, Alexander, Jess, Rebecca, Samuel, Marina, Aurora, and his great grandson Milo.
Mitchell had a very happy childhood excelling in academics and sports. He played piano, football, baseball, tennis, and swam competitively. Mitchell graduated from the Wharton School with an Accounting Degree and a Law Degree and Masters of Taxation from NYU. He worked as an Attorney until the age of 79 starting at Gaynor, Freeman, Glick, and Pisani in New Rochelle, NY but worked most of his career at Hayt, Hayt, and Landau in Great Neck, NY. Mitchell and Sue were happily married for 54 years until her death. He was lucky to remarry and he and Marjorie were married for 16 years. Mitch, as he was known, was a very sweet man quick to help others, very compassionate, and always cheerful. His corny puns made everyone groan and chuckle and earned him his nickname "Kernel Glick King of Corn". He loved to read, especially mysteries, biographies, and history. He did the NYT crossword daily, enjoyed classical music and taking long walks. He was greatly loved by all who knew him and will be missed.
