Mildred Milligan

TUOHY-MILLIGAN, Mildred born May 16, 1932 of Yonkers, Yorktown Heights, Princeton, Menand, Chappaqua, Pleasantville and White Plains passed away December 28,2020. Mildred was the most loving mother of Maura, Mark, Michael, and Jean Ann. She was the devoted wife of Fred Milligan for 64 years. She was the daughter of Patrick and Mary Tuohy. Sister to Mary Gleason, Arthur Tuohy, Francis Tuohy, Mary Gleason and Claire Powers Mildred was the aunt to Mary Beth Powers and the late Gregory, Scott, Mickey, Tom, Mary Theresa, Sean and Patricia Gleason . Mildred was most proud of her 9 grandchildren Patrick, Tommy, Will, and Scott Newman. Abbey and Megan Milligan. Simon, Emily and Owen David. Mildred adored her sons in law the late Doug Newman and Paulo David.

Born and raised in Yonkers NY Mildred had many fond memories of her childhood during the turbulent times of the 30's and 40's. She had many friends from her time attending St Barnabas in Yonkers, NY. Mildred cherished her friends from her time working in the New Castle, NY Recreation and Parks Department.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Church, 348 S Lexington Ave. White Plains, NY 10606 on Thursday, January 7,2021 at 11:00am with the burial to follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
