Mildred Epstein Hirsch

Mildred Epstein Hirsch 94, of Rockville, Maryland and formerly of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. died on July 13, 2010. She was born on Nov. 30, 1915 to the late Herman and Yetta Haber in NYC. Mildred was a retired school teacher at Congregation Emanuel in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. She was predeceased by her first husband Ben Epstein in 1975 and by her second husband Louis Hirsch. She is survived by her loving children; Eleanor (Barry) Krasner of Silver Spring, MA, Henry (Jeanne Gladden) Epstein of Washington, MO. and step son Howard Hirsch of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. Also survived by four cherished grandchildren; Leah, Joel, Steve and Brett. Funeral Service Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
