Michelle Annmarie Bertrand

Michelle Annmarie Stewart Bertrand, beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend passed away on July 18, 2022 in Manhattan, New York. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Bertrand in 2015.

Michelle leaves behind her 3 adoring sons, Brandon, Justin and Ryan, loving mother Shirley Hescott, step-father Cardinal Hescott, father Tomlin Stewart, sisters Jackie Holmes, Cheryl Hamilton, Kendra Stewart, brothers Kevin and Keith Stewart, niece Latisha Holmes along with her brother-in-law Judson Hamilton, mother in law, sisters-in-laws, several nieces, great nieces, many cousins and cherished friends.

Michelle was a beautiful person who was always first to offer love, support and wisdom to people around her, not just her friends and work colleagues. The name "Michelle" is said to be French in origin (Michele), meaning "who resembles God". Our lives have been enriched and touched by her amazing presence. The hole left in our hearts by Michelle's absence is immeasurable.
