Michael Della Rossa

Michael Della Rossa 40, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on April 17, 2009 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y. He is survived by his mother Dolores DiMauro and his sister Milissa Della Rossa both of Hawthorne, N.Y. His brother Vincent Della Rossa of Peekskill, N.Y. Nephew of Josephine Palmieri of West Harrison, N.Y. and Santo Nicita of LaGrangeville, N.Y. Also survived by many cousins. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents; Salvatore and Carmella DiMauro. He loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman and enjoyed music. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday (today) 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Rosary Hill Home 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532 would be appreciated.
