Michael J Raum

Michael J Raum, 60 of Valhalla, NY passed away peacefully on March 22, 2015. Michael was born in NYC to Henry and Catherine Raum. He was a carpenter by trade, with extraordinary talent and vision. Michael lived in Valhalla his entire life and was known for his free spirit, generosity and compassion for all who came into his life. He was also an avid New York Mets and Jets fan. Michael married Barbara Gangemi on March 31, 1979. He is survived by their three loving children, John, Kevin, and Jessica Raum as well as his siblings, Catherine (Dennis) Nittoli, Peggy (Richard) Carroll, Chris (Joyce) Raum, Hank Raum, Willy (Patty) Raum and Mary (Chris) Moran. Michael leaves behind 23 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Catherine, his sister-in-law Sharon, and his nephew Michael. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Wednesday 4-8PM where funeral services will be held at 7PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lukemia and Lymphoma society or to the SPCA of Westchester.
