Michael J. Dolan, Sr. 74, of Valhalla, N.Y. Died on April 27, 2009 at White Plains Hospital Center, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 3, 1934 to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (nee Gilroy)Dolan in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Michael proudly served his country in the Air National Guard from 1956-1963. He was owner operator of MJ Dolan Construction Co. in Valhalla, N.Y. for 35 yrs. Retiring in 1997. Michael was past president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Div.17 in White Plains, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary (nee Scott) Dolan of Valhalla, N.Y. His loving children; Michael Dolan, Jr. and his wife Linda of Valhalla, N.Y. John Dolan and his wife Diane of Valhalla, N.Y. and Kevin Dolan and his wife Suzanne of Southbury, Conn. 2 brothers Thomas and Peter Dolan both of London, England and 1 sister Nancy Feeney of Ireland. Also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Thursday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
