Max Leibler died on March 2, 2012 at the Hebrew Home for the Aged in Riverdale, N.Y. at the age of 92. Born in Vienna, Austria, in 1919, Max emigrated to the United States in 1927. He was a proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City and also attended NYU and City College of New York.
Max founded an electronics firm, A&M Instrument, and one of the first options trading firms, Marsh, Block, Leibler. He also served as an officer of Loral Corporation and Shearson, Hayden Stone. He was a long-time resident of Rockville Centre, New York, and an officer, choir member and 50 year congregant of Temple B'nai Shalom.
Max is survived by his beloved wife Martha of almost seventy years, sisters Ann Jacobson and Jay Roth, daughter Linda Golden, son Kenneth, grandchildren Stephanie, Rebecca, Jessica and Andrew, and six great-grandchildren.
