Matthew J Walsh

Matthew Walsh of Hastings-on-Hudson passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the age of 45. He was born on December 12, 1963 in White Plains to the late James E. and Dorothy A. (Oswald) Walsh. Matthew was unmarried. Matthew enjoyed collecting coins and helping others. He is survived by two brothers, James Walsh and his wife Mari, and Gerard Walsh and his wife Margaret, and three sisters, Lillian Tighe and her husband Harold, Marilyn O'Bryant and her husband Robert, and Jeanette Chace and her husband Louis, one nephew, Thomas, and four nieces, Julia, Robin, Sarah and Ann. Family and friends may call from 6 to 9 PM Thursday, August 20 and 10 -11:30 AM Friday, August 21 at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY. Cremation will take place at the Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale. A memorial service will take place at 7 PM, August 21 at the SGI-USA Hudson Valley Activity Center, 75 S. Broadway, White Plains, NY.
