Mary Turnesa 103, of Elmsford, N.Y. died on June 29,2017. She was born on Feb.9,1914 to the late Dominick and Adeline (nee Ciocca) Marinucci in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Michael Turnesa in 2000 and her beloved grandson, Jimmy Turnesa and her brother, Ben and sisters, Helen and Madeline. Mary is survived by her loving children, Michael (Nadine Eiring) Turnesa of Rockville Centre, N.Y., James (Lynn) Turnesa of Stuart, Fla., Maryellen Turnesa- DeFelice of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and Jean DeZalia of Austin, TX. One brother, Dr. Edward Marinucci of GA. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren, Monica, Diana, Tawn, Michael, Marc, Nicole and Christopher. and five great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church, Elmsford, N.Y. on Thursday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund, 49 Knollwood Road, Elmsford, New York 10523 would be appreciated.
