Mary G. Rybinsky, of Mahopac, NY, died Tuesday; June 10, 2008 at home she was 98 years old.
She was born, October 8, 1909 in Szdlow, Poland, daughter of the late Stephen Gurnisiewicz and Stephanie Budzynska.
Mary came to the United States through Ellis Island and lived in Brooklyn, White Plains, Croton Falls and finally in Mahopac, NY.
She married Joseph Rybinsky on December 16, 1956 at the Church of St. Joseph, Croton Falls, NY.
She worked as a Bookkeeper for Turner & Harrison, in White Plains, NY retiring at age 75.
She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac and enjoyed crossword puzzle's, gardening and hiking in the Catskill's.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph J. Rybinsky, sister, Henrietta G. Kalle, brother, Stephen D. Gurnis. Mary is also survived by her nieces and nephews Jeanne P. Gurnis, Stephen D. Gurnis, Gary Gagne, Deborah Gagne, Barbara Appolonia, Veronica Kuck, Laura Ryan and grandnephew, Michael S. Gurnis. Her brother Witold predeceased her. Her dear friend Merle Gomez was by her side when she died.
