Mary V. Moran

Mary V. Moran 80, a lifelong resident of Pleasantville, N.Y. died on August 10, 2012. She was born on April 11, 1932 to the late Thomas and Margaret (nee Molinaro) Papa in Pleasantville, N.Y. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Gilbert Rauh Post # 1574, The Clinton Street Center in Pleasantville, N.Y., Carpenters Union Retirees Club and the Mt.Pleasant Seniors. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Walter R. Moran, Jr. of Pleasantville, N.Y. her loving children, Mary Ellen Macauda of Norwalk, Conn., Walter R. III (Kathryn) Moran of Hawthorne, N.Y., Thomas A. (Karen) Moran of Houston, TX and Mark J. (Colleen) Moran of Pleasantville, N.Y. Also survived by her seven cherished grandchildren. Predeceased by her son in law Michael Macauda. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 7-9 PM. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to either Gilbert Rauh Post # 1574 American Legion in Thornwood, N.Y. or Clinton Street Center, Pleasantville, N.Y. or Calvary Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. would be appreciated.
