Mary Giandalone

Mary Giandalone, of Somers, New York - a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend - passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2015.

She was born on September 15, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Luigi and Philomena Lauria. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, of 51 years.

She is survived by her children: Jeanette Civale (Tony), Joanne Lombardi, Robert Giandalone (Michelle); her grandchildren: Maria, Michael Jr., Anthony, Vanessa, Michael, Robert, Gregory; her great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Zachary, Olivia, Michael, Benjamin,
Anthony, Charlie, Lydia, Mia, Eloise, Scarlett, Camilla, Simone, Siena and Matteo; her sister, Fannie, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary served as a Eucharist minister at St. Joseph's Church in Somers, NY. She was an active member of the Seniors Club in Heritage Hills. Her interests included knitting, crocheting, gardening and playing poker. Her happiest moments was spending time with her family
