Jan.28, 2014. She was born on May 17, 1928 to the late John and Jenny (nee Dalessandro) Ciarcia in Old Boston, PA. She was an Electronic Assembler with
Mitchell Electronics in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. and later worked for Artuso Bakery in Thornwood, N.Y. for many years. She was predeceased by her devoted husband,
William Batiste in 1991, her son, William Batiste, Jr. in 2006, her grandson, Stephen Batiste and two brothers and one sister. Mary is survived by her loving children,
Patricia (John) Packes of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Andrew (Alyce) Batiste of Davie, Fla.
daughter in law, Joann Batiste of Danbury, Conn. one sister, Jean Fico of Yonkers, N.Y.
also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, John and Anthony Packes, Billy (Lauren) and Michael (Nicole) Batiste, Toni Ann (Mike) Williams and Andrew Batiste, Jr.
and six great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment,
