Mary Ann Archer 96, of North White Plains, N.Y. died on June 2, 2021 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family and homecare aides. She was born on July 25, 1924 to the late Dominick and Maria (nee Benacchio) Rizzon in North White Plains, N.Y. With her family, she spent 3 years in the Northern Italy Town of Cismon del Grappa from 1934-1937, a place she always considered her second hometown. Mary was a retired Office Mgr. with JW Delano Surveyors in White Plains, N.Y. She served as a member of the North Castle Town Pool Board for many years, volunteered at the North White Plains Library when her children were young and worked the election polls on many occasions. Proud of her North White Plains roots, she enjoyed celebrating Mary Archer Day in The Town of North Castle, at the age of 75.

Mary was predeceased by her devoted husband, James P. Archer in 1967 and her beloved son, James L. Archer in 1989. She was also predeceased by her brother, Livio Rizzon and sister, Elia Zanella. Mary is survived by her loving children, Lois (Paul Peters) Archer of Albany, N.Y., Janis Archer of Chappaqua, N.Y. and Laurie (Thomas) Perrino of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and beloved daughter-in-law, Deanna Archer (Terry) Wilson.   She is also survived by her 5 cherished grandchildren, Brian (Dana) Archer, Lauren Peters, James, Christopher and Alyssa Perrino and one great granddaughter, Rory Archer. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
