Martin Paul Fedor Jr, 93 years of age of Hawthorne NY, peacefully passed away at his residence on June 1, 2013. Born June 4th, 1919 to the late Martin Paul Fedor and Anna Ftezko Fedor in Alicia PA. He served proudly in the US Navy during WWII in the Airborne Division where he was a member of the blimp squadron. Through the GI Bill, he went on to become a graduate of Syracuse University. After a decorated 22 year career as a New York State Trooper, where he was stationed throughout the state, Martin retired from Troop K in 1972.
Martin is remembered as a devoted husband, loving parent, devout catholic, avid Yankee Fan, opera fanatic and long term value investor.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Gertrude Fedor of Hawthorne NY and by his loving children Anna Carpio, Dr. Mary Fedor & Attila Boydak, Martin Fedor III & Cassiana Basso, Alexandra Fedor all of NYC. Also survived by one cherished granddaughter Bilge Boydak. Predeceased by one brother Alexander and one sister Elizabeth.
