Martha D Leibler

Martha Leibler died on April 14, 2013 at the Hebrew Home for the Aged at Riverdale, N.Y. at the age of 91. She was born in Munich in 1921 to Regina and David Djalowski, and was the older sister of Ruth and Loraine. Martha emigrated to the United States in 1936.

She was the beloved wife of Max Leibler for seventy years. The Leiblers were long-time residents of Rockville Centre, New York, and 50 year congregants of Temple B'nai Shalom. Martha worked with Max in a number of his ventures as both employee and advisor.

Martha is survived by a sister Loraine Halis, a daughter Linda and son-in-law Jerry Golden, a son Kenneth and daughter-in-law Marcia Leibler, grandchildren Stephanie, Rebecca, Jessica and Andrew, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 11:00 am at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, New York. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Hebrew Home at Riverdale, N.Y.

Shiva will be at the home of Linda and Jerry Golden at 25 Kensington Road, Scarsdale, NY from Tuesday, April 16 through Thursday, April 18.
