Marion A. Sabatelli 94, of Peekskill, N.Y. and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. died on August 25, 2009 at Hudson Valley Hospital in Peekskill, N.Y. She was born on June 18, 1915 to the late Mariano and Archangela (nee Gasperi) Avallone in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Ralph Sabatelli in 2007 after 70 years of marriage, and 2 sisters; Evelyn Ferrara and Nilda Boyer. Marion is survived by her loving children; Barbara Mazzarella and her husband Gabriel of Hawthorne, N.Y. Judy Fusco and her husband Joseph of Chatham, N.J.and Anthony Sabatelli and his wife Gail of Lackawaxan, PA. 1 brother John Avallone of Bronx, N.Y. and 1 sister Claire Lopez of Ridgefield, Conn. Also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren; Lisa, Janine, Gabrielle, Anthony, Dana, Lauren and Jacqueline and 7 great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
