Marion Jean 84, most recently of Pleasantville, N.Y. and a former longtime resident of Valhalla, N.Y. died suddenly on April 12, 2013 with her family by her side in Schenectady, N.Y. She was born on Jan.8, 1929 to the late Petro and Margaret (nee DeStefano) Apuzzo in Jamicia, Queens, N.Y. Marion was a retired self employed hairdresser and homemaker in Valhalla, N.Y. She was a member of the Mt.Pleasant Seniors. Marion was predeceased by her devoted husband, Roland A. Jean in 2001 and also predeceased by her two sisters, Emma Carey and Jane Ann Irving and brother, Salvatore Apuzzo. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda J. DeFiore and husband John of Scotia, N.Y. two brothers, Andrew Petrazzuoli and his partner Brian SooHoo of San Francisco, CA and John (Pam) Petrazzuoli of Myrtle Beach, SC. also survived by her three cherished grandsons, Justin, Andrew and Douglas(Cindy)DeFiore and by her one great grandson, Andrew Gregory DeFiore and several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
