Mario J. Cassaro

Mario J. Cassaro 88, of Bronx, N.Y. died on May 30, 2009 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. He was born on July 2, 1920 to the late Guiseppe and Giovannina (nee DeMille) Cassaro in NYC. Mario was a retired Postman with the US Postal Service in Bronx, N.Y. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Rosalie (nee Calandrino) Cassaro in 1995, his brother Vincent Cassaro and son in law Richard Nalbandian in 1991. He is survived by his loving daughters; Irene Cassaro of New Rochelle, N.Y. and Virginia Nalbandian of Valhalla, N.Y. Also survived by his 3 cherished grandchildren; James, Jason and Nicole Nalbandian. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
