Marie Tiso

Marie Tiso 90, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 30, 2013 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Ossining, N.Y. She was born on Jan.3, 1923 to the late Michael and Gienie (nee Squeo) Chiappinelli in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. She was a retired secretary with Kraft General Foods in White Plains, N.Y. Marie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Anthony J. Tiso in 2010 and by her two brothers. She is survived by her loving children, Louis A. (Denise) Tiso of Novi, Michigan, Jeanne McSherry of Chappaqua, N.Y. and Barbara (Nicholas) Zanzano of Hawthorne, N.Y. Also survived by her five cherished grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
