Marie Greenberg

Marie Greenberg, a longtime resident of Elma, NY and formerly of Scarsdale, died on October 9, 2011. She was 84.

Mrs. Greenberg was born on December 8, 1926 in Boston to the late Walter James Feeney and Marie Therese Bawo. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, she worked as a designer of children's clothing. In 1960, she married Murray Greenberg. They raised their family in Hartsdale. He pre-deceased her in 2000. For many years before her retirement she worked as a buyer for the Z Made Clothing Co.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Richard) Wells and Sara Greenberg; her son, Mark (Christine) Greenberg; six grandchildren; and her sister, Eileen Skinner.

Visiting Wednesday 9am to 10am at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
