Marie T. Giammareno

Marie T. Giammareno 81, of Hawthorne and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died on August 20, 2010 at Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, N.Y. She was born on Feb.26, 1929 to the late John and Rose Gargano in Yonkers, N.Y. Marie was a retired secretary with Equifax Services in NYC for many years and later worked at St.Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, N.Y. which she loved. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Vincent Giammareno in 1981 and by her 2 sisters; Inogence Gargano and Ann Ranalli. Marie is survived by her loving children; Rosemarie McMahon and her husband Scott of Hawthorne, N.Y. and John Giammareno of Yonkers, N.Y. one brother Daniel Gargano and his wife Claire of Maryland. Also survived by her 2 cherished grandchildren; Scott Vincent and Christian Peter McMahon. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday (today) 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY.
