Marie Angela Gallinari

With great sorrow, the Gallinari family announces the passing of Marie Gallinari, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. Marie passed away on March 2, 2023. She was born in the Bronx on March 29, 1942, to Mary and Frank Tortorello and grew up with her brother Bobby (Rose) who was always there for her.

Marie married the love of her life, James Gallinari on June 17th, 1967. Together, they raised two children, Robin(August) and Lisa (Robert). The family brought the most happiness to Marie’s life. Her greatest joy came from being Nanny to the 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild whom she loved with all her heart.

As an office manager to Houlihan Parnes and Peconic Land Trust, she was a valuable employee many trusted and befriended. Her bright personality was a joy to work with.

Throughout her life, Marie touched the lives of very many people. Her smile and loving heart made so many feel loved to be around her. She showed so much love through cooking and there was always something special for everyone at her table. She was loved by her many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. But most of all by the family that loved her. She will be deeply missed and always remembered in our hearts.
