Maria C. Rosas

Maria C. Rosas, aged 82, died in her home on May 30, 2020, surrounded by her family. After a courageous 10-year battle with CREST Syndrome, an Auto Immune Disease, she is finally at Blissful Peace.

She was born August 5, 1937 in Colombia South America, the first daughter of Baudilio and Evidalia Sastre. She migrated to the United States in 1968.

She was passionate about many things in her life, but her family was her everything - especially her grand-children.

She loved to "garden" and her favorite plant/flower was the Orchid. She truly had a Green Thumb. Give her a sick or dying plant, and it would come back to life in her care.
Her other passion was cooking, creating her own recipes, and ensuring that everyone was well fed and taken care of.

Maria is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Jose R. Rosas and her beloved first-born grandson, Mikael Camacho. Maria is survived by her six children and their families. Her daughter Ana Camacho, son-in-law Gabriel, and grand-daughter Celine, and pre-deceased grand-son Mikael. Her daughter Carmen Cassese, and son-in-law Richard. Her son Louis Rosas, daughter-in-law Irene, and grand-daughter Erika. Her daughter Dorali Rosas. Her daughter Flor Pfannschmidt, son-in-law Allan, and grand-daughters Alyana and Kalani. Her son Michael Castellano, daughter-in-law MariaElena, and grand-children Michael and Daniel. Maria is also survived by her two sisters, Ana Cardona and Cecilia Ciprian and her much loved nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Jude or the ASPCA in her Loving Memory.
