Maria Puccio

Maria Puccio 94, of White Plains, N.Y. died on Jan.7, 2012 at Hebrew Hospital Home of Westchester in Valhalla, N .Y. She was born on Feb.25, 1917 to the late Martino and Teresa (nee DiPuma) Cardella in NYC. Maria was a retired seamstress and worked for Glorella Coat Factory in Bronx, N.Y. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Placido Puccio in 1986 and by her three sisters and two brothers. Maria is survived by her loving children; Lucy Giordano of White Plains, N.Y. Salvatore Puccio of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Martin Puccio of White Plains, N.Y. also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday, 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
