Maria LeDonne

Maria LeDonne 92, of West Harrison, N.Y. and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 15, 2021 at The Grove in Valhalla, N.Y. She was born on April 15, 1928 to the late Antonio and Rosa Lucente in Provincia L’Aquila, Italy. She settled in White Plains, N.Y. in 1961 from Italy. She worked for AT&T in White Plains, N.Y. Maria was a member of the Mount Pleasant and West Harrison Seniors and also a member of the Rosary Altar Society of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla. She was an avid cook, baker and loved to knit. Maria was predeceased by her devoted husband, Antonio LeDonne in 2010 and also predeceased by her brother, Coradino Lucente of Italy in 2021. She is survived by her loving children, Frank LeDonne (Aquilina, Dec, 2015) of Mamaroneck, N.Y., Caroline (Joseph) Bucci of North White Plains, N.Y., Italo (Debbie) LeDonne of Paulding, N.Y. and Rosa (Anthony) Abbondola of Valhalla, N.Y. two sisters, Elizabetta Donatelli and Anna Stinellis of Canada. Also survived by her eleven cherished grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Anthony of Padua Church, West Harrison, N.Y. on Friday, 10 AM. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to The Alzheimer’s Association, would be appreciated.
