Maria Fata, 85 of Valhalla, New York died on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Calvary Hospital in New York, NY. She was the wife of the late Vincenzo Fata. Surviving are three sons, Joseph Fata of Hawthorne, NY, John Fata of Valhalla, NY and Frank Fata of Valhalla, NY, one sister, Fiora Urrico of Pleasantville, NY; and 5 grand children Vincenzo, Christina Marie, Gregorio, Vincent Michael and John Fata. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2012, at Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, New York. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, New York. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY.
