Margaret "Peggy" Sordillo

Margaret "Peggy"� Sordillo of East Irvington, NY, died May 20, 2012. She was 78. Peggy was born November 25, 1933 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Doak. She married Clement Sordillo on September 20, 1959. He pre deceased her in November 2000. Surviving are her daughters, Carol (Rocco) DePalo, Joann (Richard) Seipel and Ellen Sordillo, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by husband, Clement Sordillo, father, Joseph Doak, mother, Margaret Doak. She volunteered at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry for 10 years. Visitation will be at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 East Main Street, Elmsford on Wednesday, May 23 from 2-4 and 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY. Contributions in Peggy's memory may be made to the Pulmonary Physiology Lab, Attn: Development Office, 701 N.
