Margaret S Pape

Margaret S. Pape of White Plains, NY, died March 1, 2010 in White Plains, NY. She was 57 years old. Margaret was born February 9, 1953 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, daughter of the late William and Margaret Shafer. Margaret loved children and was strongly committed to their education, which was her life's work. She was a guiding spirit and leader at the First Baptist Church of White Plains. She found great joy in cooking for large groups of people and loved her many dogs, especially her Siberian husky Jimmy. Her beloved husband Richard Pape, two sons Graham and Andrew all of White Plains survive her, as well as a brother William (Linda) Shafer and sister Bronwyn (Martin) Alfano. Margaret is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township, PA following the funeral service.
