Margaret Ann O'Mara

Margaret A. O'Mara of Elmsford N.Y. Died on February 4, 2023. She was born on
July 13, 1931 to Lawrence Della Rocca and Anna Lisa Kalb in Yonkers, N.Y. She was
raised and educated in Yonkers. She married John E. O'Mara in Saint Bartholomew's
R.C. Church on May 5, 1951. Her beloved husband died on March 19, 1999. Margaret
was a devoted mother to her 6 children and their spouses, Margaret Dacundo
(Robert), Carol Florio (Anthony), John T. O'Mara (Marie), James O'Mara (Patricia),
Anne Purcell (Michael) and Susan Moon (Gary). She is also survived by 16 grand
children and 16 great grand children. Margaret was president of The Elmsford
Seniors. She enjoyed playing cards, and Scrabble, trips to the casino, and spending
quality time with her children, grand children and great grand children.

Visitation will be held at the Ballard -Durand Funeral Home in Elmsford, NY, Tuesday, February 7th, frpm 2 - 4 and 6 - 8PM. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 8th, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice.
