Margaret Hunt

Margaret L. Hunt (Klepsig) passed away peacefully Friday July 13, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in White Plains and longtime resident of Thornwood, NY. Margaret is survived by her husband Albert J. Hunt, sister Elizabeth Schlichting (Richard), and her three daughters Lois Dalbo (Neil), Susan Olthoff (Bob) and Janice Davis (John); as well as her grandchildren Wade, Kasey, Bryan, Amanda, Nicole, Jenna, Jaimie, Jesse and great grandchild Ryan. Margaret was also very close to several nieces and nephews and their children. Margaret was a graduate of White Plains High School; she was a bookkeeper for over 30 years and retired from Elmsford Interstate Lumber and Material Company. Margaret was an avid bowler and animal lover (especially Duke), who loved to travel. Her home was always filled with friends and family. She was like a mother to many people. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Sadan and her wonderful team at White Plains Oncology for all they have done. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA of Westchester. She was loved and will be missed by all.
