Margaret Mary Curtis passed away on May 17, 2010 due to complications following heart surgery. She is survived by her husband, Barry Curtis; her two daughters, Sharon Weber of North White Plains and Catherine Lepone of Los Angeles; and her brother, John Ruff of Seaford, NY. She had two grandchildren, Ryan and Emily as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Curtis was born in New York on May 18, 1928 and grew up in Seaford, New York where she attended school. She became an accomplished office administrator working for companies such as the Anaconda Wire and Cable Company, The Flintkote Corporation, Pepsi and other local companies during her long career in business. She was a talented artist and water colorist, a caring wife and mother who was selfless in her desire to ensure that her family was well provided for. She was a parishioner of St. Matthews Lutheran Church up until the time her husband became too disabled to attend with her. Her family celebrates her long and productive life and wishes her well in her journey.
