Margaret Brunberg

Margaret Syme Horton Brunberg, age 97, died on January 10, 2024. She was born in White Plains on April 21, 1926, the daughter of Frank M. and Lilyan (Bell) Horton and graduated from White Plains High School.

She married George E. Brunberg on July 4, 1948 who predeceased her in 2015. She is survived by her daughters Christine Harrison and Karen Strandell and son-in-law Timothy Harrison, granddaughters Lyndsay Strandell and her husband Yuri Shustin, and Kristen Strandell, grandsons Liam Harrison and his wife Angela, and Daniel Harrison, and great grandsons Roebling and Arlo Harrison.

Margaret was also predeceased in 2016 by her special needs son William (Billy) Brunberg whom she supported for all his life.

Margaret began her professional life as a lab technician at White Plains Hospital and then worked in various doctors' offices until becoming a homemaker upon the birth of her first child. She was always there to greet her children when they arrived home from school. She later went back to work in the pediatrics office at Mount Kisco Medical Group where she met many friends among her coworkers. She retired from the Group and then held several part-time jobs before retiring for good.

Margaret was always ready to help and care for her family who will miss her very much.
