Marco DeBiase

Marco DeBiase Sr. 78, of Carmel, N.Y. and formerly of Hawthorne, N.Y. passed peacefully surrounded by his family on December 1, 2023. He was born on April 25, 1945, to the late Felice and Sabina (nee Turturro) DeBiase in Giovinazzo, Italy. He was a retired auto mechanic and owned DeBiase Brothers Service Center in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., along with his brother for 47 years. He loved his family very much and will be deeply missed. Marco is survived by his devoted wife, Mary (nee Pantuso) DeBiase of Carmel, N.Y., and by his loving children, Danielle (Bill) Friedel of Yorktown, N.Y., Marco (Francesca) DeBiase Jr. of Ossining, N.Y., and Paul DeBiase. Also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Brendan and Ella Friedel, and Gianna DeBiase. Also surviving are his five brothers, Giuseppe, Vincenzo, Anthony, Cosmo, Eugene, and two sisters, Angela Turturro and Anna DeFronzo and predeceased by his two sisters, Rosa Cortese and Franca Lepore, and brother Leo DeBiase. Also survived by his brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws in New York, California, and Italy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 4 -8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to The Alzheimer's Association, would be appreciated.
