Lucy D. Persampieri

Lucy D. Persampieri passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020 at the age 89. She was a longtime resident of White Plains, NY. She was born in White Plains on December 24,1930 to Pellegrino and Giovannina Fragnito. She was predeceased by her husband Frank J. Persampieri. She is survived by her two children Peter (Catherine) Persampieri of Brewster, NY and Claire (Mark) O'Brien of Tarrytown, NY. She has three grandchildren Peter Persampieri, Nicole O'Brien and Erica O'Brien. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Christine Persampieri Brew. In addition, Lucy has one great grandson, Luke J. Persampieri.

Lucy was a graduate from St John's the Evangelist School in 1949. She was an accountant for Aetna Life and Casualty in White Plains and retired from her position in 1992.

She was a very active member in her parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in White Plains, NY. Lucy was involved in Bingo, Festa Italiana, and many other functions. She was an avid reader, gardener and loved to travel with family and friends.

A graveside burial will be held on Saturday December 19th at 10:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains, NY. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lucy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
