Lucille J Fiorillo

Lucille J. Fiorillo, "Lu", 92, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 and went to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was born in the Bronx, NY on May 14, 1924 to Alfred and Faye (Annunziato) Distante. Lucille was predeceased by a precious daughter, Barbara Faye Fiorillo in 1952. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, the love of her life, Michael J. Fiorillo. Lucille was the kind, beautiful Mother of three loving daughters; Linda Fiorillo, Lorayne Fiorillo-Marienberg (Bill) and Lois Huggins (Shaun). She is also survived by a dear grandson, Max Michael Marienberg. She cared deeply and selflessly for her loved ones and will be sorely missed by her siblings; Mildred Nanna, Ronald Distante (Lisa), Corrine Dunn (Bill) and sister-in-law Rita, as well as many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Two brothers preceded her in death; Joseph and Frank Distante.

Lucille was a devout Catholic, and she and Michael shared that love for Christ and His Church. Lucille was committed to praying fervently for her loved ones and was truly a joy to all whose lives she blessed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 17 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, White Plains, NY, followed by interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Friends may call at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains, NY on Tuesday, August 16 from 6-9 PM.
