Lucille P. Finan 65, of Hawthorne, N.Y. passed away on April 26, 2009 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. after battling a long illness with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born on Oct.4, 1943 to the late Lucio and Nancy (nee Muscarella) DelGaudio in Bronx, N.Y. Lucille was raised in the Bronx, then moved to New City and graduated from Clarkstown High School in 1961. She has resided in Hawthorne for the past 35 years where she spent her time as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She also was a part time waitress for over 40 years and made many friends with her outgoing personality and gift of humor.
Lucille was predeceased by her first husband Robert Fair. She is survived by her devoted husband James Finan of Hawthorne, N.Y. Her loving children; Robert Fair and his wife Lucille of Blauvelt, N.Y. James Finan and his fiancee Sandra Herbst of Hawthorne, N.Y. Michael Finan and his wife Andrea of Bronxville, N.Y. and Kimberly Palmiero and her husband John of Valhalla, N.Y. 3 sisters; Barbara Abene of Dunedin, Fla Nancy Philips of Trinity, Fla. and Elena Williams of New City, N.Y. Also survived by her 4 cherished grandchildren; Anthony and Daniella Fair and Jonathan and Arianna Palmiero. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
