Lucia Lucy Ackerly

Lucia (Lucy) Ackerly 78, of West Harrison, N.Y. and formerly of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. died on July 16, 2021 at The Grove in Valhalla, N.Y. She was born on Jan. 2, 1943 to the late Joseph and Concetta  Bellio in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. Lucy was a retired deli clerk with Moms Deli in West Harrison, N.Y., and Grand Union Supermarkets in Sleepy Hollow and Pleasantville and later Key Food.  She was a member of both West Harrison and Sleepy Hollow Seniors. Lucy was predeceased by her devoted husband, John Ackerly in 2009 and her sister, Helen and brothers, John and Frank.  She is survived by her loving daughters, Lorraine Ackerly-Light of West Harrison, N.Y. and Christine (Michael) Ackerly of Hawthorne, N.Y.  Also survived by her one cherished grandson, R.J. (Teresa) Light and one great granddaughter, Reagan Grace Light. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM. Interment, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
