Lourdes Lopez

Lourdes Lopez, a long time resident of White Plains died on November 12th 2013 after a tough and brave battle with respiratory failure. She had just turned 86. She was born in Havana, Cuba on October 23rd 1927 of Spanish decent and is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years. She was blessed to be able to celebrate their 50th Anniversary on November 9th while at the Hospital. She is also survived by her two sisters Berta Gosende and Elisabeth Perez and three loving children Digna L Reus, Jose Lopez Jr. of White Plains and Lourdes Lopez Valle of Mahopac as well as her son-in-law Waldo Reus Jr. She had four grandchildren whom she adored Robert C Reus, Stephen M Reus, Victoria Reus and Isabella S Valle. Lourdes also leaves behind great friends. She was an incredibly loving, kind, generous, happy and gentle soul with tremendous heart and spirit and will forever leave her imprint in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her.
