Louise (Tocci) Raso

Louise Catherine Raso, 95, of North White Plains, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, after a long illness. She was born on July 9, 1928, to the late Louis and Katherine (Motts) Tocci in Goldens Bridge, NY. She is predeceased by her husband, Louis John Raso, and their son, Louis S. Raso.

Louise met her sweetheart, Louis, at the Cheerful Card Company in White Plains, NY. They married on September 4, 1954, and were married for 56 years, until Louis died on February 1, 2011. The family lived in North White Plains.

Louise was an avid baker - renowned for her cream puffs. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Community Center, and was a mean Bingo player prior to her illness. Louise also passionately loved to play the lottery, despite the fact that she rarely won. And Louise loved gardening but, sadly, she did not have the green thumb she thought she did.

Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was Immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters and son-in-laws: Barbara Khoury and Dr. Paul Khoury, Purchase, NY; Suzin Raso, North White Plains, NY; and Lisa and Michael Due, Wappingers Falls, NY; and her grandchildren, Jordan and Jason Due, whom she loved with all her heart.  Louise was also a devoted sister to Viola Tocci, Ida Colonese and Peter Tocci, all of whom predeceased her.
