Lorenza Morettini

Lorenza Morettini, of West Harrison, NY, died May 11, 2016 at her home in West Harrison, NY surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old. Lorenza was born August 7, 1920 in Fabriano, Italy daughter to the late Antonio and Giuseppa Conti. Along with her husband Perseo, Lorenza departed Italy for America in 1957 and settled in West Harrison, NY. She raised her family in West Harrison and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Surviving are daughter, Pat Castellano and her husband Mike, her son, Remo Morettini and his wife Susan and a sister, Lina Conti. Lorenza is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Michael (Chrissy), Marc (Rebeca), David (Breanne), Jennifer (Steve) and John and her five great grandchildren Luke, Jesse, Samuel, Sophie and Ella and a sixth on the way. Lorenza was predeceased by her husband Perseo in 1959. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Anthony of Padua Church on Saturday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY. Reposing Friday from 5-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains.
